Analyze effluent and sludge to be treated
Listening, understanding and assessing before acting is the starting point for every intervention.
Whatever the situation or type of effluent, SEMEO implements a diagnostic protocol to define the treatment process best suited to your needs and your performance requirements.
Sampling
SEMEO teams can intervene on site to gather the information needed to choose the best method of waste treatment:
- quantification of effluent volumes to be treated
- assessment of the environment (access, connections, available space, etc.)
- sampling of effluent or sludge to be treated
Characterization
Sewage sludge, industrial effluent, polluted water or leachate: whatever the type of effluent to be treated, SEMEO’s teams submit the samples taken to its dedicated laboratory for precise characterization:
- classification of materials (organic or mineral)
- conductivity, pH, Redox measurements…
- granulometry evaluation
- heavy metal detection
- centrifugation for phase separation
Laboratory tests
Once the effluents have been determined, the engineering teams carry out various treatment tests in the laboratory to refine the process and the choice of mobile technology:
- Flottatest to study flotation of particles contained in samples
- Evaluation and validation of flocculation and/or coagulation of materials
- Pressurization cell tests to validate sludge dryness sludge dryness
Through in-depth analysis of wastewater and sewage sludge, SEMEO’s teams will be able to provide a comprehensive treatment solution and make concrete performance commitments that take into account:
- operational assessments of the solution implemented (optimization of reagent consumption, energy balance, etc.)
- equipment availability (testing of different technologies)
