DESCRIPTION
DECANTEO is a wastewater treatment system used in the pretreatment phase to separate sludge from wastewater or to precipitate pollutants.
This system can be combined with physicochemical treatment processes such as an Automatic Polymer Dosing System (APDS), coagulant injection, etc.
The lamellar clarifier proves to be more effective thanks to the use of lamellae, which increase the effective treatment surface area.

How it works
The pollution is captured by gravity and settle at the bottom of the equipment. A pump collects the settled portion (sludge), while the clear water overflows and is discharged.
DECANTEO uses the principle of counter-current lamellar settling, which reverses the direction of solid particle fall during separation relative to the direction of water flow between the lamellae. Water rises up through the mesh, while particles denser than water sink back down.
