DESCRIPTION
The TROMMEL sieve is ideally suited for the pretreatment of highly contaminated effluents—such as industrial effluents, dredged material, and sandy water—to remove macro-waste (>50 mm) from the effluents.

How it works
The Trommel screen consists of a screening drum (filtering element) and a spiral screw mounted inside the screen to facilitate the transfer and discharge of waste.
The sieving process involves trapping waste using the drum. The drum consists of a perforated metal sheet with a variable diameter and is equipped with stainless steel spirals to convey the waste toward the outlet. It allows for control of the drainage time. The screened effluent exits beneath the drum. The effluent is collected by gravity and is available for post-treatment (dewatering, biological treatment, etc.).
