DESCRIPTION

The CENTREO centrifuge uses centrifugal force to dewater sludge.
Its ability to operate nearly continuously makes it a highly efficient piece of equipment.
As the most widely used equipment for sludge treatment, CENTREO improves dryness and enables continuous processing at the production site.
CENTREO is suitable for all types of sludge, even the most difficult ones,
and can be adapted very easily and quickly to meet performance requirements.

How it works

CENTREO’s centrifugation process separates water from sludge using centrifugal force. The sludge is fed into a rotating bowl (2,500 rpm); the flocculated particles (formed by a chemical reaction upstream) are pressed against the walls and conveyed to the far end of the centrifuge by an Archimedes screw. The water, meanwhile, is discharged by gravity at the other end of the centrifuge.
