DESCRIPTION

VISSEO is designed for the continuous dewatering of all types of municipal and industrial wastewater sludge.
It features a simple and robust design that fully meets the operational and maintenance requirements of the French market.
The screw press can be used for both large and small volumes of sludge to be dewatered. Compact and energy-efficient, the screw press delivers high performance.

How it works

VISSEO is a mobile unit that separates particles from sludge in water using a compacting screw.

The process consists of three stages: flocculation, filtration, and dewatering. The sludge is fed directly into the system via a sludge pump.

The first step involves injecting polymer into the sludge to form compact, consistent “flocs” (through a chemical reaction). Next, the interstitial water produced by flocculation is rapidly drained through the first section of the filter screen as soon as it enters the machine. The flocculated sludge is transported inside the machine by a transfer screw. The sludge is fed in very slowly, which optimizes the compression dewatering process. The filtrate, meanwhile, drains off naturally by gravity.
